Hello everybody, it’s Drew, welcome to my recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to make a special dish, bread dessert. One of my favorites. This time, I’m gonna make it a little bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Bread Dessert is one of the most popular of current trending meals in the world. It’s appreciated by millions every day. It is easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. Bread Dessert is something that I have loved my whole life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

Capirotada is a traditional Mexican dessert, similar to what we know of as a bread pudding. In this variation, a baguette is sliced and toasted then layered with fruit in a dish and drizzled with a spiced fruit syrup. This dish is often eaten in Mexico around Easter time and carries a rich symbolism to the Passion of Christ. Leftover bread makes for the most luscious chocolate-hazelnut bread pudding, here bound together by a custardy cream mixture that couldn't be easier to whip up.

To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook bread dessert using 7 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Bread Dessert:
  1. Make ready For sugar syrup
  2. Get 1/2 cup water
  3. Take 1/2 cup sugar
  4. Get 2 crushed cardamoms
  5. Take 8-10 saffron strings
  6. Take For dough
  7. Get 5-6 bread slices (white / brown)

This is authentic ciambellotto, a sweet loaf my great-grandmother used to bake in Italy. Looking like a loaf of bread that Hello Kitty would have made comes this rather fruity (and very pink looking) cherry dessert bread. What I love about all these dessert bread recipes is that the basic bread recipe sugar, milk, oil, eggs, flour and salt always remains. In the sweets department, there is an obvious choice for using up stale bread: bread pudding.

Steps to make Bread Dessert:
  1. First we will make sugar syrup. For sugar we will take 1/2 cup+ 2 tbsp water + 1/2 cup sugar in a pan. Now add 2 crushed cardamom, 8-10 saffron string. Mix well till sugar dissolves. Once sugar melts, cook on medium high flame for 6-8 minutes. Sugar syrup should become sticky after 8 minutes. Sugar is ready now. Keep it aside
  2. For dough- Take 5- 6 bread (white /brown). Take out the edges. Break them into small pieces. Add little milk (milk should be on room temperature) at a time and knead a smooth dough. Now apply little ghee on dough and make it smooth. Dough is ready now.
  3. Take small portion of dough and roll it in a circle shape and press them gently. Heat ghee/oil and fry balls at a time on medium heat. Flip them couple of times till they are perfectly cooked. When they are golden brown take them out and dip them in warm sugar syrup. Flip them once and cover for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, flip once again and cover for 10-15 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes take out form the sugar syrup and garnish with the chopped almonds & pistachios. Now dessert is ready to serve

What I love about all these dessert bread recipes is that the basic bread recipe sugar, milk, oil, eggs, flour and salt always remains. In the sweets department, there is an obvious choice for using up stale bread: bread pudding. I happen to love this warm, custardy dessert, so it's a nice coincidence that it's best when made with stale bread. (It allows the cubes to soak up the liquid without turning to mush.) Bread pudding welcomes creativity. Of course, all bread puddings start with some sort of bread, whether slightly stale French baguette or even Krispy Kreme doughnuts (we really did that), and are usually filled with some sort of custard and topped with a sweet sauce. These recipes include cakes, sweet breads, and muffins that the whole family will love (to eat).

So that is going to wrap it up with this exceptional food bread dessert recipe. Thank you very much for reading. I’m sure you can make this at home.
