  1. Heat water in a pan, allow it to boil, add jeera, hing. Cook for 2 mins. Then add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt, onion and green chilli. Cook for another 2 mins.
  2. Add rice flour and mix well. Let it be on gas for 3-4 mins. Now remove from gas, let it cool completely. Add oil and knead it like a dough.
  3. Make small balls, flatten them, heat oil and deep fry the rice flour dumplings. Serve it with sauce and chutney (whichever one prefers). Yummy hot dumplings are ready.

Very little oil is used in its preparation, hence it makes for a healthy and light snack. They can be made both sweet or spicy depending on your preference.
