Add mascarpone cheese and beat until smooth. It is made of ladyfingers (savoiardi) dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa. The recipe has been adapted into many varieties of cakes and other desserts. Its origins are often disputed among Italian regions Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia Tiramisù is a velvety mélange of savoiardi cookies dipped in an espresso, layered with delicately sweetened whipped eggs and mascarpone cheese, and topped with a dusting of cocoa powder.

Tiramisù is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes delicious. It’s appreciated by millions daily. Tiramisù is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

  2. Once all mixed start beating the white of the eggs and add the other half of the sugar. Mix everything until the whites are nice and firm.
  3. Mix the whites with the mascarpone base bit by bit being very careful not to take the air out from the whites. Mix the coffee with some water and some sugar. Put a generous spoonful of mascarpone mix on the bottom of the cake container and level it off. Dip the sponge fingers in the coffee and lay them next to each other. Cover them with half of the mascarpone mix and do a second layer of biscuits then cover with the other half of the mix.
  4. Leave in the fridge to set for at least 2 hours and add cocoa powder before serving.

But after tasting my own version of this classic dessert, I've changed my mind. Well, usually this dessert requires you to separate eggs, make a custard, then fold that into another mixture with whipped cream and mascarpone cheese — and that's just the first step.
