Hello everybody, it’s Louise, welcome to our recipe page. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, caramel custard pudding. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I will make it a little bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Caramel custard pudding is one of the most popular of current trending foods in the world. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. They are nice and they look wonderful. Caramel custard pudding is something that I have loved my whole life.

In a large bowl, beat the eggs, milk, vanilla and remaining sugar until blended but not foamy. Remove from heat and whisk eggs into milk mixture. Let the caramel come to a boil allow it to bubble up till it turns golden brown. Dig into this soft, luscious and delicious custard pudding which will melt in your mouth.

To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have caramel custard pudding using 7 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Caramel custard pudding:
  1. Take 2 eggs
  2. Prepare 3 tbsp sugar
  3. Prepare 1 1/2 cup whole fat milk
  4. Get 3 tbsp fresh cream
  5. Take 1 tsp vanilla essence
  6. Get 1 tbsp vanilla custard powder
  7. Take 4 tbsp sugar(to caramelize)

It has a layer of clear caramel sauce followed by light and fluffy pudding. Make the caramel first and prepare the pan. Keep the flame to lowest once it starts browning and once when the melted sugar reaches a nice dark amber color, switch off the fire. Caramel custard is a rich and decadent caramel dessert and it has a smooth and creamy texture.

Steps to make Caramel custard pudding:
  1. Firstly in a thick-bottomed saucepan add 4tbsp sugar on a low flame & caramelize sugar, and pour it into the bowl to set.
  2. In a mixing bowl add eggs, milk, cream, custard powder, sugar, vanilla essence, and whisk it well until it's smooth creamy in texture.
  3. Now pour the mixture into the caramelized sugar Bowl and cook it in the double boiling method for 40 minutes, let it cool down,&refrigerate for a 1hour, take out cover the bowl with a serving plate and demould, your delicious caramel custard is ready to relish.

Caramel custard is a rich and decadent caramel dessert and it has a smooth and creamy texture. Caramel custard is different in taste and texture than a regular caramel pudding /flan. Coat the inner surface of the custard cups with unsalted butter. This will make it easy to remove the pudding from the cups.
