The ingredients needed to make Beetroot Fry:
  1. Make ready 1 . Beetroot - 2 medium peel and grated
  2. Take 2 . Green chilli - 1 stilted
  3. Take 3 . Curry leaves - 10
  4. Take 4 . Mustard - 1 tsp
  5. Take 5 . Urad dal - 1 tsp
  6. Take 6 . Hing - as needed
  7. Prepare 7 . Salt - as needed
  8. Prepare 8 . Oil - 1 tsp
  9. Take 9 . Water - to drizzle
  10. Make ready 10 . Grated coconut - 2 tbsp (optional)
  11. Make ready 11 . Coriander - for garnish
Instructions to make Beetroot Fry:
    1. Heat kadai add oil to this. Keep the flame medium. When the oil hot add mustard. - - 2. once mustard start to crackle add the urid dal, curry leaves and green chilli. Saute until urid dal done. But be careful don't burnt it. - - 3. Now add the hing,salt, grated beetroot to this.
    1. I don't add much water just sprinkle water close and cook for 2-3 minutes. Now again sprinkle bit of water and cook another 3 minutes. - - 5. Now switch off the flame add coconut and mix. - - 6. Finally add the coriander and serve hot with sambar…
