  9. Prepare 2 large tomato
  10. Get 1 medium size onion
  11. Prepare to taste Salt
  12. Prepare 1 tsp cooking oil

Wash rice and lentils in water several times to get rid of dust and starch until water runs clear.   3. Now add all the spices and cook for 10mins on medium heat. Then pour the soaked rice & lentils. Mix them well. If you are using the raw vegetables, this is the time when you have to add the vegetables. Give it a good stir. After 7 to 10 minutes add 10 cups of water. Make sure it gets mushy. So need to pour enough water. Put the lid on and cook until everything gets perfectly cooked.
  4. Serve it hot with some lemon or any pickle. ๐Ÿ™‚
