  1. Pre- heat oven to 180° and line baking tin.
  2. In a large bowl melt chocolate and margarine. Use the double boiler method. Once completely melted set aside to cool. Add oil.
  3. Sift the flour, baking powder and baking soda together in a bowl. Add the sugar and whisk to combine.
  4. In another bowl mix in the eggs, butter milk and essence.
  5. Mix everything together in the first bowl and add the hot water.
  6. Bake for 45 - 60 minutes depending with your oven. Let it cool overnight.
  7. Crumb coat with butter cream and let it sit for 1 hour in the fridge.
  8. I added raspberries just because. (Semi naked)
