Hey everyone, I hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, I will show you a way to prepare a special dish, classic french toast. It is one of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I will make it a bit tasty. This will be really delicious.

This is the best french toast recipe I've ever tried. The only change I made was to use Pepperidge Farm's French Toast Bread. This bread is thick and very dense. During the cooking time the bread rises with a slightly crispy outside.

The ingredients needed to make Classic French Toast:
  1. Take 2 Bread slice
  2. Take 2 Eggs
  3. Make ready 4 tbsp Milk
  4. Take 4 tsp Sugar
  5. Make ready 1 tsp Butter

One of our family's favorite breakfasts! Saturday mornings are for yummy breakfasts that are fancier then anything I'd make during the week. Immediately remove to serving plate; keep warm. I added all of the spices as suggested and enjoyed the taste, although I would probably use less nutmeg next time.

  1. In a mixing bowl add eggs and beat well.
  2. Add milk, sugar and beat everything well.
  3. In a pan add butter.
  4. Dip bread slices into egg mixture and Place in a pan.
  5. Keep low flame and cook on both sides. Apply butter on both sides.

Immediately remove to serving plate; keep warm. I added all of the spices as suggested and enjoyed the taste, although I would probably use less nutmeg next time. I used the rest of a loaf of french bread that we had bought the night before, so that made it extra tastey. I also followed another reviewer's suggestion and covered the pan with a lid so the middle. French toast is very easy: Soak thick slices of bread in an egg and milk batter, then fry them to crisp up the outside and cook the egg custard center.
