  1. Prepare 1 kg Chuck steak, 3cm cubed
  2. Prepare 1 Flour to coat
  3. Get 1 Cooking oil
  4. Prepare 200 grams Bacon, chopped
  5. Get 150 grams Onion, chopped
  6. Take 3 clove garlic, minced
  7. Get 1 Leek, sliced
  8. Get 250 grams Small button mushrooms, quartered

  10. Get 2 cup Red wine
  11. Get 2 cup Beef stock
  12. Prepare 2 tsp Fresh thyme, chopped

Beef bourguignon (US: /ˌbʊərɡiːnˈjɒ̃/) or bœuf bourguignon (UK: /ˌbɜːf ˈbɔːrɡɪn.jɒ̃/; French: [bœf buʁɡiɲɔ̃]), also called beef Burgundy, and bœuf à la Bourguignonne, is a beef stew braised in red wine, often red Burgundy, and beef stock, typically flavored with carrots, onions, garlic, and a bouquet garni. Thanks to Julia Child and Ina Garten, this classic French beef stew is familiar to many home cooks, yet, I still don't hear much The flavor of this boeuf bourguignon recipe is deep, rich, and beyond luxurious. Which is ironic since under the lid of this cast iron, one-pot, dutch. Beef bourguignon is one of those recipes that gets better the day after you make it.

Instructions to make Beef Bourguignon (One Pot):
  1. Toss the beef in flour to coat.
  2. Heat oil in a large pot- medium heat- and brown beef in batches. Set aside.
  3. Fry bacon and set aside with beef.
  4. Add onion, leek and garlic. Cook until onion has softened.
  5. Return beef and bacon- along with all other ingredients (except for parsley), bring to the boil then lower heat to simmer (lid on) for one hour.
  6. Remove lid and simmer for a further 30 minutes. Sauce will have thickened.
  7. Serve with mash potato and garnish with chopped parsley. Yummy!

It reheats beautifully and can be kept refrigerated for up to five days. You can also freeze beef bourguignon for up to three months.
