Hey everyone, it’s Louise, welcome to my recipe site. Today, we’re going to prepare a special dish, custard. One of my favorites food recipes. This time, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Custard is one of the most favored of current trending meals on earth. It is enjoyed by millions every day. It is easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. They’re nice and they look fantastic. Custard is something that I’ve loved my whole life.

Cook and stir milk, vanilla extract, and butter in a saucepan over medium heat until simmering. Remove mixture from heat before it comes to a boil. When the cornstarch is dissolved, slowly add the rest of the milk and sugar, and cook over moderate heat until the sauce starts to thicken and comes to a boil. Remove milk from heat, and gradually add to the egg mixture, stirring constantly with a whisk.

To begin with this recipe, we have to first prepare a few components. You can cook custard using 4 ingredients and 3 steps. Here is how you cook it.

The ingredients needed to make Custard:
  1. Get 1/2 litre milk
  2. Get 2 tsp custard powder
  3. Take 4 tsp sugar
  4. Get as needed almonds

My mother's recipe–eat on its own or pour over canned peaches or guavas or, my fave, bread pudding. If you are really grossed out by the possibility of flecks of egg white in your custard, you can either pass it through a fine-mesh sieve or substitute four yolks for the two whole eggs. At its most basic, custard is a carefully heated mixture of hot milk or cream and egg yolk. Making custard can be a delicate process; overheating will cause the mixture to curdle.

Steps to make Custard:
  1. Take 1/2 cup cold milk, add 2 tsp custard powder. Heat milk in a pan, let it boil, add sugar and mix well.
  2. Add custard mixture. Cook for 2 mins. on low flame. Turn off the flame. Let it cool down. Chopped dry fruits like almonds.
  3. Add almonds in custard. Mix well. Refrigerate for one hour. Serve chilled custard.
