Hello everybody, it’s Drew, welcome to our recipe page. Today, I will show you a way to make a special dish, focaccia. One of my favorites food recipes. For mine, I’m gonna make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Focaccia is one of the most favored of current trending foods in the world. It’s appreciated by millions daily. It is easy, it is quick, it tastes yummy. Focaccia is something that I’ve loved my whole life. They are fine and they look fantastic.

Combine the warm water, yeast and sugar in a small bowl. In the bowl of a mixer fitted. Our focaccia has a moist but airy crumb sandwiched between thin but ultra-crunchy top and bottom crusts, thanks to a generous amount of olive oil in the pan and on top of the dough. Focaccia, a simple Italian flatbread, can be patted thin for bread with a lot of chew, or thicker for a softer bread.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook focaccia using 9 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Focaccia:
  1. Make ready 300 g bread flour
  2. Take 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  3. Make ready 5 g salt
  4. Prepare 210 ml water
  5. Get 2.5 g dry yeast
  6. Get 2 tablespoons boiling water
  7. Take Toppings
  8. Prepare To taste sliced olives
  9. Take To taste rosemary

Mix in the vegetable oil and water. If you want to fill your kitchen with the smell of fresh-baked bread but you're nervous about shaping a boule or working with a starter, focaccia is the best place to begin. Focaccia is our favorite yeast-bread to make at home. It has a crisp outside and soft inside, and is perfect to serve with dinner, soups, stews, or even sliced in half and used for sandwiches.

Steps to make Focaccia:
  1. First combine the flour, yeast, water, and salt in a bread maker and select the ‘dough’ course/program. After around 5 minutes, mix in 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and continue the program.
  2. Once the course is finished, take out the dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper or greased with olive oil, and let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the remaining 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and 2 tablespoons of boiling water and mix until emulsified.
  4. Spread out the dough on the baking tray and poke the dough with your fingers. Then, pour the mix from step 3 on top of the dough. Let the dough rest for 2 hours.
  5. After 2 hours, add the olives and rosemary (optional). Preheat the oven to 200°C.
  6. Bake the dough for 15-20 minutes at 200°C until ready.

Focaccia is our favorite yeast-bread to make at home. It has a crisp outside and soft inside, and is perfect to serve with dinner, soups, stews, or even sliced in half and used for sandwiches. Thanks to the ingredients, it's also naturally vegan. More from Inspired Taste Mix the yeast and water in a small bowl. In large bowl, stir together flour, salt, sugar, garlic powder, oregano, thyme, basil, and black pepper.
