Instructions to make Pear Upside-down Cake:
  1. Preheat oven to 180C. Line a small cake tin with baking paper. Sprinkle Brown Sugar on the baking paper evenly.
  2. Peel skin and slice Pears and arrange the slices on the baking paper.
  3. Make the cake mixture. Mix melted Butter and Sugar until creamy, add Egg and Vanilla and mix well. Add Flour and Milk and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the mixture over the Pear slices, smooth the surface, and bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until cooked. Set aside to cool before turning onto a plate.
