  1. Preheat oven to 170. Firstly apply the tomato purée to the pittas. If you want a thinner base I suggest cutting the pitta breads in half.
  2. Add a layer of cheese
  3. Add on peppers, meat and tomatoes
  4. Add the mixed herbs and another layer of cheese
  5. Cook in the oven till the pitta is crisp and cheese is melted (around 10-15 mins)

Healthier and cheaper than a takeaway pizza, these make for a quick lunch or dinner. These quick pitta pizzas are perfect if you want a quick, light meal. Load the pita bread with your favorite sauce. You can use store-bought pizza sauce or store-bought marinara sauce. Remove the pita bread from the Air Fryer.
